A beautiful heritage building in London Brough up to date without compromising on its past
This beautiful apartment in Wandsworth formed part of a heritage site that was restored as part of a larger upliftment project in the area. The building is filled with character features such as double volume ceilings, exposed beams and large arched windows.
The addition of contemporary elements brought the whole space up to date, yet warm tones were maintained throughout to create a cosy and relaxed feeling.
This space, despite being compact, was design so that it could host larger gatherings as much as it could provide a cosy accommodation for the couple who occupied it.
Designer pieces from some of Europes finest brands and custom joinery and additions made this a truly unique and pleasant space to be in.
In order to optimise the views and light the large windows were covered in soft sheers roller blinds with a second black out blind hidden behind. Flowing sheer linen curtains drew the eye up to the tall ceilings, providing enough privacy without reducing the light.
